Photographer François Perri lives between Minorca and Paris. He attended the Sudre photography school, and specialized very early in ethno sociological features, in France as well as on the African land, he walked the Sudanese desert, went on a ride on a motorbike for two years in Western Africa…, or in Asia.

He made several photo reports during his travels around the world. In 1991, he founded the “Dialogue de l’Image”* association, organizing pin hole camera workshops where he initiated youths into the magic of the pinhole camera on the four continents.

He then went around the world on a sailboat within the frame of the “Dans le Sillage de Magellan” operation, sponsored by UNESCO and the French Ministry of Culture. Ever since, he’s been sharing his time between his creative activities and his photographic work; besides, he has produced and co produced several documentaries.

His work generated several exhibitions and publications in national, international magazines and publishing.
